It seems the 2025/26 campaign might be the season for Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze after he delivered a shocking strike to inspire his team, AC Milan, to a huge victory over Perth Glory during their club friendly game on Thursday afternoon.

The Nigerian international, who started the game, scored the 5th goal of the encounter, and it was a beauty to watch as AC Milan dismantled their opponents 9-0 at the HBF Park, Footballrover reports.
AC Milan Smashes Perth Glory with Ruthless First-Half Display
The Serie A side put on a footballing clinic in the first 45 minutes as they tore through Perth Glory with a relentless five-goal blitz.
It took just three minutes for Filippo Terracciano to open the floodgates, slotting home the opener to set the tone for what would become a masterclass in attacking football.

Noah Okafor then took centre stage with a rapid-fire brace in the 24th and 27th minutes, displaying his sharp movement and lethal finishing to make it 3–0.
There was no respite for the Australian side, as Christian Comotto calmly converted a penalty on the half-hour mark to extend Milan’s dominance.
Just two minutes later, Chukwueze added his name to the scoresheet with a composed finish, capping off an entertaining half that left Perth Glory shell-shocked and trailing 5–0 before the break.

An emphatic statement from the Rossoneri, who wrapped up the game even before the whistle for halftime.
Samuel Chukwueze’s Impact Signals Bright Season Ahead
After the break, Milan showed no signs of slowing down. Rafael Leão, who replaced Okafor at the restart, wasted no time making an impact, striking in the 47th minute to make it 6–0.
Chukwueze then made way for Mattia Liberali shortly after, and the young guns kept the pressure on.

Samuele Ricci rounded off the scoring in the 58th minute, hammering in Milan’s seventh of the night, before Yunus Musah joined the party with a well-taken effort in the 80th.
Leão then sealed his brace in the 86th minute, rounding off the scoring with Milan’s ninth of the evening.
A dominant display from Massimiliano Allegri’s men, who mixed flair with clinical finishing in a performance that delighted their travelling fans and underlined their preseason sharpness.
If this game was any indication, Milan fans have plenty to look forward to—and so does Chukwueze.
The next challenge? Chukwueze and his teammates will now prepare for two back-to-back friendlies against English clubs—first against Leeds on the 9th, then a high-stakes clash with world champions Chelsea.
