Super Falcons defender Osinachi Ohale delivered a stellar performance on Monday night, capping it off with a goal to help Pachuca destroy FC Juárez in a dominant 6-1 victory in their Liga MX Femenil clash.
The 33-year-old center-back put the finishing touch on an emphatic win, netting her side’s final goal in the one-sided Round 8 encounter, Footballrover reports.
Ohale wasn’t the only Nigerian in action. While she grabbed the headlines with her goal, compatriot Chinwendu Ihezuo—who has three goals this season—also played a role in the rout before being substituted in the 76th minute for fellow Nigerian Ayooluwa Oke.
Pachuca destroy FC Juárez with ruthless attacking display
Pachuca entered the match on a four-game winning streak and extended it to five in spectacular fashion, completely outclassing their opponents.
From the opening whistle, Pachuca seized control, led by an inspired Charlyn Corral, who bagged a hat-trick.
The scoring began just six minutes in when Corral found the net to put the hosts ahead. Seventeen minutes later, Nina Nicosia doubled the lead before Corral struck again in the 31st minute to make it 3-0.
Seven minutes before halftime, Myra Delgadillo added a fourth, effectively putting the game out of reach.
The second half saw Pachuca maintain their relentless pressure, with Corral completing her hat-trick 13 minutes after the restart to make it 5-0.
Then came Osinachi Ohale’s moment— in the 65th minute, the Nigerian defender rose to the occasion, scoring Pachuca’s sixth goal with a powerful header before making way for Daniela Flores four minutes later.
Despite the lopsided contest, FC Juárez managed to pull one back, but it was nothing more than a consolation on a night dominated by Pachuca.
Osinachi Ohale and Pachuca remain unbeaten, eye more glory
With this commanding victory, Pachuca remains unbeaten in their 2025 campaign, boasting seven wins and a draw.
The three points propelled them to the top of the table with 22 points, one ahead of second-placed América and five clear of their defeated opponents.
Riding high on momentum, Osinachi Ohale and her teammates will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Santos Laguna as they look to extend their dominance in Liga MX Femenil.
