Super Eagles and Enyimba FC goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke has signed a two-year deal with Sudanese club Al Merrikh Omdurman.
The 28-year-old Nigerian goalkeeper has joined the Sudanese Premier League giants after completing his routine medical examination, Footballrover reports.
Olorunleke transferred from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Enyimba, where he spent three successful years.
Career Highlights and Achievements
Olorunleke played a pivotal role in Enyimba’s title-winning 2022–2023 NPFL season under coach Finidi George.
As a key player, he succeeded Austin Oladapo as team captain when Oladapo moved to TP Mazembe.
His leadership and impressive performances were instrumental in Enyimba securing their ninth league title.
His exceptional goalkeeping skills earned him a spot in Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
Olorunleke has been the only home-based player to be called up to the Super Eagles camp three consecutive times in 2024, under coach Jose Peseiro.

Before joining Enyimba, Olorunleke played for Giwa FC, Sunshine Stars, and Abia Warriors.
His consistent performances have not gone unnoticed; he recently won the Goalkeeper of the Year award at the 10th Nigeria Pitch Awards.
Last season, he kept 10 clean sheets in the league, showcasing his reliability and skill as a top-tier goalkeeper.
