Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has generously provided free tickets for fans to attend the highly anticipated AFCON Qualifier game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and São Tomé & Principe at the iconic Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Footballrover understands that Governor Umo Uno has covered the cost of more than 30,000 tickets to ensure that fans have the opportunity to witness this exciting match.
In response to overwhelming demand for tickets since their initial release, the Governor decided to buy an additional 25,000 tickets for the AFCON 2023 qualification match.
This comes in addition to the 5,000 free tickets that were previously made available.
All 30,000 tickets for the match will be distributed FREE of charge to spectators, making it accessible to everyone who wishes to be part of this thrilling event.
No one needs to purchase tickets for this match. In case you haven’t secured a ticket in advance, you can simply come to the Stadium before 4:00pm on match day and receive a free ticket at the gate.
This exceptional gesture was announced in an official statement signed by the state Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Sir Monday Ebong Uko.
He emphasized that Governor Umo Eno’s aim is to rally citizens and residents of the state to show their support for the Super Eagles as they pursue victory.
