Ghana has been eliminated from the African Football Championship after falling to a 2-0 defeat against Niger in the competition’s quater-final round at the Stade Olympique d’Oran in Algeria.
After the host nation – Algeria, Senegal and Madagascar, Niger became the fourth country to advance to the continental football championship’s final four.

Imarana Seyni gave Niger the lead with a strike in the 11th minute of the first half of the game.
In the 49th minute of the second half of the game, Niger scored again to extend their lead. Niger will meet host Algeria in the Semi-finals while Madagascar faces Senegal.
