Verratti played with Chelsea defender – Thiago Silva at PSG before joining the Blues in the Premier League.
The defender grabbed the new deal at Stamford Bridge after his contract at the Stade des Princes expired in 2020.
Verratti is yet to play a single game in the Serie A despite being one of the best midfielders Italy currently has.
After achieving promotion to Serie A with I Delfini, the PSG star man left Pescara in 2012 and has been with the Ligue 1 giants ever since.
His contract with PSG is set to expire in 2024, however, the 29-year-old was part of the Ligue 1 champions’ 5-0 win over Metz on Saturday evening.
Marco Verratti appeared in 32 games for PSG this season, scoring two goals and adding two assists.
