PSG breezed to a 5-0 victory over 10-man Metz, who were relegated to Ligue 2 during their Ligue 1 clash on Saturday evening, thanks to a hat-trick from Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe earned a hat-trick at the Parc des Princes after it was announced that he will remain a PSG player next season.
The forward fired his side ahead with a quick double in the first half, with his first coming in 24th minute and his brace four minutes later before he added his hat-trick five minutes after the break.
Between the Frenchman’s last two goals, Neymar sliced in a lovely finish over Caillard.
Angel Di Maria also ended up scoring in his final match for the club, shortly after Traore was sent off for his second yellow card.
This season, Mauricio Pochettino’s team has gone unbeaten at the Parc des Princes, finishing the season with 86 points as they now lift the trophy.
Kylian Mbappe ends the season at the top of the Ligue 1 scorers and assists rankings.
Metz’s fate was in their own hands, but they were unable to avoid automatic relegation despite being level on points with St-Etienne and having a better goal difference before the game.
After St-Etienne played out a 1-1 draw with Nantes, Metz fell into the automatic relegation zone and will play in the second division next season.
PSG finished the season on a high note, winning the league title at the end of the game.
