This wasn’t just any win for the Udinese.
Juventus, chasing the Serie A title, dominated possession and created more chances. However, Okoye stood tall, denying them every opportunity and extinguishing their title hopes.
The goal that stole the show came from an unlikely source: Lautaro Giannetti, a recent signing from Argentina.
His scrappy goal in the 25th minute put Udinese ahead, leaving Juventus to chase an equaliser throughout the second half.
Despite dominating the second half, Juventus never truly threatened to break through Udinese’s resolute defence.
They created few clear-cut chances and ultimately succumbed to a frustrating home defeat against the relegation-threatened side.
What’s Next:
With this victory, Udinese climbed to 15th place with 22 points, just two points above the relegation zone.
They face Cagliari next, knowing another win could be crucial to their escape from the bottom three.
