Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez silenced lingering transfer rumours with a resounding “I don’t want to leave Chelsea” after his match-winning strike against Crystal Palace on Monday night.
Despite facing some criticism for his performances this season, the Argentinian star emphatically denied any desire to depart Stamford Bridge, Footballrover reports.
The midfielder has played a key role under Mauricio Pochettino, yet he has received massive criticism for his performances.
However, his brilliant goal against Palace served as a potent rebuttal to his doubters.

The £106.8 million signing from Benfica last year addressed the rumours directly, saying,
Enzo said he feels really well at the Bridge with his teammates and coaching staff, expressing his satisfaction at the club.
The World Cup winner stressed that he has been treated superbly by everyone since day one of his arrival and that he won’t quit the club until they ask him to.
“I’m grateful for that, and I will continue here until they want me to,” he said.
The match itself saw Chelsea overcome a first-half deficit to secure a crucial victory.
Jefferson Lerma’s early goal for Palace was answered by a quick-fire brace from Conor Gallagher after the break.
However, it was Fernandez’s late wonder strike that truly sealed the deal, leaving both defender and goalkeeper helpless.
