Everton’s standout player, Alex Iwobi, has received a lot of appreciation from football fans after his outstanding performance vs Man United in their Premier League match on Saturday.
Everton clinched all three points with a 1-0 win over Manchester United, boosting their survival chances and putting the Red Devils’ chances of finishing in the top four in jeopardy.
Victory at Goodison Park – courtesy of Anthony Gordon’s deflected first-half strike – moved Frank Lampard’s side four points clear of the bottom three, despite the fact that they had played one more game than 18th-placed Burnley.
Alex Iwobi completed another 90 minutes of football action as Everton mesmerized Manchester United at Goodison Park. Iwobi was part of the build-up that resulted in the victory in the hotly contested match.

Alex Iwobi led the team to relegation survival against a side that included Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba. His pressing was excellent, and the Toffees’ midfielder gave his all for the team.
The 25-year-old received an 8/10 rating in a contest in which he displayed incredible intensity. In terms of off-the-ball work, he’s a different player under Lampard.
Recall that before the clash, the Super Eagles midfielder stated;
“We are not Championship players. We feel we have enough quality to stay up. We just have to prove it and we’ll be alright. But it starts this Saturday.”
And he followed up with a mind-blowing performance to back up his remarks.
Lampard expressed his satisfaction in his tenacious squad while enjoying his third Premier League victory since taking control in late January.
?”I am very happy but we need more of this. The players are a good bunch – but we have a lot to do.” – Frank Lampard

Alex Iwobi works his bollocks off. Everton currently much better team when he plays. Richarlison monumental too – stepping up when side needs him most
