The Falconets have unveiled a 35-player call-up as preparations kick off for next month’s 2026 World Cup qualifying clash against Rwanda, and three Nigerian clubs have clearly stolen the spotlight.

Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, and Nasarawa Amazons emerged as the most dominant contributors, sending a combined 17 players to coach Moses Aduku’s squad, Footballrover reports.

The World Cup qualifiers will see the young starlets begin their campaign away to Rwanda in Kigali on September 21, before hosting the return leg in Ibadan on September 27.
Edo Queens and Bayelsa Queens each have six players in the squad, while Nasarawa Amazons boast five representatives.

This dominance reflects the consistent performances of these clubs in the just-concluded Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) and their proven track record in producing elite young talent.
Rivers Angels (4), Naija Ratels (3), FC Robo Queens (2), Abia Angels (2), and Remo Stars Ladies (2) also feature prominently, alongside single call-ups from Ibom Angels, Adamawa Queens, and Imo Strikers.
