Super Eagles forward – Emmanuel Dennis added yet another assist to his tally despite Watford’s crushing defeat at the hands of Manchester City.
In Watford’s devastating Premier League defeat at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, the 24-year-old assisted the sole goal for the Hornets.
The relegation battling Watford were defeated 5-1 by the Pep Guardiola’s team.
The hosts dominated the game from start to finish and got to work right away as Jesus scored from close range four minutes into the game.
Moments after, Jesus glanced in De Bruyne’s cross to double Manchester City’s advantage.
Watford attempted a comeback when Emmanuel Dennis set up Hassane Kamara, who scored a clinical goal to make the score 2-1.
The Cote d’Ivoire defender and Nigeria striker combine for visitors’ consolation goal.
Their aspirations were shattered, though, when Rodrigo slammed home a spectacular 25-yard strike.
Jesus then grabbed his hat trick with a penalty in the second half, before adding his fourth with a clinical strike after an unselfish assist from De Bruyne.
Watford then sunk deeper into their defensive shell to avoid a more humiliating defeat, and City ran out convincing winners.
With the win, Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points, with Liverpool still to play and Watford in 19th place.
Emmanuel Dennis now has six assists in all competitions for Watford this season.
