Four goals from Victor Osimhen, brace from Terem Moffi and goals from Simon Moses, Peter Etebo, Lookman Ademola and Emmanuel Dennis sealed the win for the Eagles and all three points

Victor Osimhen opened the scoring for the Eagles after 9 mins with a fine header and a perfect cross from Moses Simon.

The FC Nancy assist machine – Simon Moses delivered a powerful cross and Osimhen was there at the right time to power in his header for Nigeria’s opening goal.

22 minutes on, Osimhen stings the leg of the hosts goalkeeper with a powerful header but he was only close to getting his second of the afternoon.

five minutes later, the Super Eagles captain – Simon doubles the lead for the Nigerian team as Osimhen returned the assist.

Two minutes to the interval, Terem Moffi gets his goal to make it 3-0 for the Super Eagles. Osimhen turned provider yet again as he hustled to win a loose pass and finds his strike partner with a good cross.

Moffi does just as well to keep his composure and delivered an excellent finish to give Nigeria three goals lead.

The Super Eagles came into the second half with more hunger for goals. Barely three minutes in, Osimhen stabs in his second of the game with another header from a Lookman cross this time.

Peter Etebo made it 5-0 from a free-kick. Moffi then notched his second of the afternoon in 60th minute, thank to Sanusi with the assist. Substitute Musa with some good work in the build up too.

Lookman Ademola also got on the score sheet with his first for the Super Eagles of Nigeria before Osimhen got his first senior hat-trick to make it 8-0.

Victor Osimhen went on to grab his fourth of the contest, giving the Eagles a 9-0 lead before Emmanuel Dennis made it a double figure in the match for the second time ever for Nigeria.

The Super Eagles completly demolished Sao Tome & Principe to record the biggest win in their history. 10-0
