William Troost-Ekong, captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, recently disclosed a fascinating detail about Osimhen’s career ambitions during an interview with talkSPORT.
Troost-Ekong revealed that Osimhen, who had previously been linked with a move to Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain has been a Chelsea fan since his youth, a dream that may soon turn into reality.
“He’s always been a big Chelsea fan. I can confirm that,” Troost-Ekong said. “If the opportunity arises, I know he’ll grab it.”
This revelation is also likely to fuel more speculation about Osimhen’s potential move to West London, especially with Chelsea reportedly still in search of a proven goal scorer to strengthen their campaign.

“He’s a great teammate, in front of the goal he can be very greedy, but he’s someone who speaks up for the team in the changing room, he’s a real leader and I’m sure he’ll be captain soon. He always plays like it’s his last game of football, chasing down every ball and going for every header.
Everything that looks like it shouldn’t be a chance, he makes it a chance, I think he’s one of the most feared strikers to play against,” Troost-Ekong added.
