A thrilling showdown is about to take place at the Aba Township Stadium between Super Eagles/Enyimba Legends and National SWAN as the grand finale of the Kanu Nwankwo U19 Football Tournament approaches. 
Enyimba International Football Club, under the leadership of Chairman and two-time African Footballer of the Year, Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo, will be hosting a unique exhibition match, Footballrover reports.
This Thursday, June 4th, at 1 p.m., fans will witness an exciting curtain-raiser between the Enyimba legends and retired Super Eagles players against the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) National Football Team.
Sporting Director of Enyimba and former Nigerian Super Eagles midfielder, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, expressed his joy about the upcoming event.
“We are delighted to welcome the SWAN national team to Aba. They have showcased remarkable skills during their friendly matches, and we are eager to test their strengths against our seasoned veterans,” Ekwueme remarked.
The initiative to host this match is just to appreciate the key role of media professionals in promoting Nigerian football.
Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo commended the relentless efforts of journalists in providing visibility to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
“Despite the challenges, Nigerian journalists have been unwavering in their dedication. Their support is indispensable for the growth of our league,” Kanu said.
The event will feature an array of football legends such as Victor Ikpeba, Samson Siasia, Austin Eguavoen, Uche Okechukwu, Taribo West, and Emmanuel Olisadebe, among others.
