Ademola Lookman’s remarkable form shows no signs of slowing down as the Nigerian forward delivered his ninth goal of the season during Atalanta’s 3-1 victory over Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardin.

The Super Eagles star, already a key figure in Serie A, continues to make headlines with his consistent performances, and his latest strike left fans eager for more, Footballrover reports.

Lookman’s journey to scoring his ninth goal wasn’t without its drama. Early in the match, the 27-year-old thought he had given Atalanta the lead in the 9th minute, but his goal was disallowed after a VAR review ruled him offside.

Despite the setback, Lookman remained focused and finally broke the deadlock in the 75th minute.

Composing himself, Lookman calmly slotted the ball into the net, ensuring Atalanta’s three points.

This goal added to Lookman’s impressive tally for the season, bringing his total to nine across all competitions.

The Nigerian forward’s presence has been nothing short of sensational, with seven goals in Serie A and two in the Champions League.

Ademola has now registered 18 goals and 11 assists in 2024 alone, leading the pack in Serie A and showing off his unmatched form.

The win propelled Atalanta to the top of the Serie A standings, tied with Inter Milan on points.

However, thanks to a superior goal difference, Atalanta are now in pole position.
