Nigerian star Abdullahi Odey once again showed his class, delivering a crucial assist that powered Maxline Vitebsk to a 2-0 home win over Dinamo Minsk in the Belarus Vysshaya League on Thursday night.
The win keeps Maxline firmly on top of the Belarusian Premier League table and stretches their unbeaten run, Footballrover reports.

The 22-year-old defensive midfielder, on loan from Aris Limassol, was a bright spot for the full 90 minutes.
Abdullahi provided the decisive pass for Maxline Vitebsk’s second goal of the game—his third direct goal contribution of the season after 14 matches, adding to his two goals.
Maxline wasted no time stamping their authority at the Central City Stadium. Vladislav Zhuk fired them ahead just 12 minutes in, energising the home crowd.
Only six minutes later, Abdullahi set up Juninho to double the lead, giving the hosts a comfortable cushion before halftime.
Maxline stay unbeaten in Belarus Vysshaya League
The second half saw both teams pushing for more goals, but Abdullahi and his teammates held firm to protect their lead and secure all three points.
This victory marks Maxline Vitebsk’s second straight win since drawing with FK Molodechno, extending their unbeaten record to 12 wins and three draws this season.
With 39 points, Maxline sit ten points clear at the top of the Belarusian Premier League standings.
Now, Abdullahi and his team will turn their focus to the Belarusian Cup as they prepare to face Baranovici in the Round of 32.
