The atmosphere felt like a festival, and when Cubana was presented with the team’s customised jersey, the stadium erupted in cheers.

The billionaire’s presence wasn’t just symbolic. His promise of ₦1 million per goal immediately boosted the team’s morale.

Enyimba responded in kind, securing a 1–0 victory thanks to a powerful first-half header from new signing Joseph Abiodun.

— “This is more than football; it is culture, it is unity, and it is support for our own. Enyimba is our pride, and we must all come together to push them to greater heights,” Cubana declared, smiling as the crowd celebrated.

For the fans, the victory carried extra weight — not only did Aba Boys earn three points, but the club also showed how business and football can work hand in hand.
