Former Calabar Rovers FC coach Samson Unuanel anticipates a challenging match for NPFL title-holder Enyimba as they set to clash with Bendel Insurance this weekend, as reported by Complete Sports.
Coach Unuanel, who recently parted ways with Rovers FC, foresees a tough battle on Matchday 21 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, where Bendel Insurance will host Enyimba on Saturday.
“Yes, it’s going to be a tough game considering the pedigree of both teams in the league,” he said.
Having experienced a recent setback himself with Rovers FC, Unuanel remains confident in Bendel Insurance’s ability to rebound, especially after their narrow loss to Sporting Lagos.
The coach believes the Benin-based team, fueled by their determination to please their supporters, can clinch all three points from their visitors.
However, based on their position in the NPFL league, the People’s Elephant are the better side.
With 35 points, the Aba Boys are currently in third place and are aiming to overtake the Remo Stars, who are leading by just one point.
It would be intriguing to see how the eighth-place Benin Gunners, with 30 points, will handle their guests to secure all three points.
Also note that the Aba-based team will be coming into this match fresh off a close victory over Shooting Stars in their previous game.
This Saturday’s Nigerian League game is one that you really must watch.
