Kalmar FF will have their star player Vince Osuji to thank after his outstanding defensive performance helped the team secure a close victory over Djurgadens on Sunday night at their home stadium.

The Swedish Allsvenskan encounter had the Guldfågeln Arena vibrating in excitement as Kalmar FF pulled off a shocking 2-1 victory over league high-flyers Djurgardens, Footballrover reports.

The star of the show? None other than Nigerian sensation Vince Osuji.

The Nigerian defender was an absolute titan at the back, throwing his body on the line and making crucial interceptions that left Djurgaden’s attackers wondering: Who is this boy really?

As for Kalmar, the fight to avoid the drop continues. Osuji and his teammates are in the thick of the relegation battle, sitting in 14th position.
