Bayelsa-born football star Victory Beniangba is set to make the festive season memorable for fans and former players as well.
The Jong Genk midfielder is organising a one-day All Stars tournament under the theme: “Let’s Host Our Fathers and Legends in The Game This Festive Period.”
Victory Beniangba Brings Experience to Bayelsa
The event will take place on December 23, 2025, at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Footballrover reports.
The 22-years-old attacking midfielder has already carved out an impressive career in Europe and Africa. Currently with Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League, he has contributed five goals this season — scoring three goals and providing two assists in just ten appearances and 808 minutes played.
His journey has also included stints with Servette FC in Switzerland, El Gaish in Egypt, and Bayelsa United in Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
At Bayelsa United, he won the Aiteo Cup (now the President Federation Cup) and scored a decisive goal in a CAF Confederation Cup home match against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia at the Samson Siasia Stadium.
Festive All Stars Tournament Set for December 23
Beniangba’s tournament promises to be exciting, with cash prizes totaling 550,000 Naira. Winners and top performers will be rewarded as follows:
- First Place: 200,000 Naira
- Second Place: 150,000 Naira
- Third Place: 100,000 Naira
- Top Scorer: 50,000 Naira
- MVP: 50,000 Naira
The event will also feature refreshments and a get-together for all participants, creating a festive atmosphere for players, fans, and legends.
Beniangba’s initiative not only celebrates football talent in Bayelsa State but also gives back to the community by recognising the contributions of former stars and providing a platform for emerging players.
