Victor Osimhen’s 40-goal milestone sends message across Europe
The Nigerian forward showed his elite striking instincts once more, scoring the second and fourth goals of the match.
With this latest performance, Victor Osimhen now boasts an incredible 40-goal milestone this season—netting 33 times and contributing 7 assists.
Galatasaray opened the scoring in the 9th minute when Lucas Torreira capitalized on a rebound in the box.
Just six minutes later, Victor Osimhen doubled the lead with a sharp finish into the bottom corner after a loose ball fell to him.
Baris Alper Yilmaz added a third in the 21st minute before Osimhen struck again from a free-kick situation in the 31st minute, burying the ball past the helpless goalkeeper to make it 4-0.
Sivasspor pulled one back in the 33rd minute through Rey Manaj, but it was merely a consolation as Galatasaray remained in control throughout the encounter.
This remarkable season has not only highlighted Osimhen’s reliability but also reinforced his status as one of Europe’s most clinical finishers.
Galatasaray’s title hopes ride on Osimhen’s form

They sit eight points clear at the top, and Osimhen’s relentless form may just be the driving force that carries them over the line.
Looking ahead, the focus shifts to the final stretch of the season, with Trabzonspor next on the fixture list.
