Nemanja Matic has confirmed he will no longer be a part Manchester United squad at the end of this season in a short note to the Red Devils fans.
The Man United number 31 has issued an update on his future after he decided that this season will be his last at Old Trafford – the theater of dreams.
The Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic announced via his Instagram page on Friday that he will leave the club at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The former Chelsea star – Matic claimed that playing for the Red Devils have been a huge honor for him and that he will do everything in his power to assist his teammates finish the season strongly.

Since joining the Reds from Chelsea in 2017, the 33-year-old has made 183 appearances for the club and now looks poised to leave Old Trafford.
“After a great deal of thought, I have decided that this season will be my last with Manchester United. I have informed the board, the manager and the players of my decision. It has been a huge honour and a privilege to play for this great club. A big thank you to the fans for their unwavering support. I will now give everything until the end of the season to help my team-mates finish as strongly as possible,” he wrote.
