In addition, the Portuguese delivered a vital pass and engaged in five aerial duels. His second goal came from one of them, and his third came from a thunderous free-kick that proved to be the game-winner.

United climbs from seventh to fifth place in the rankings, just three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.

Norwich has fallen farther behind the pack, and the Canaries are currently seven points short of safety with only three games remaining.

United are on the rise, while Norwich appear to be moving in the opposite direction.
