Imuran’s brilliance came through in the 27th minute of the first half, equalizing the scoreline at 1-1 after Alice Sombath had handed Lyon an early lead in the 20th minute.
But Lyon wasn’t to be denied, as Eugenie Le Sommer extended their advantage to 2-1 in the 43rd minute, followed by Melchie Dumoney’s strike, making it 3-1 before the half-time whistle.
The second half saw Lyon’s dominance continue, with Lindsey Horan and Amel Majri adding two more goals in the 87th and 89th minutes, sealing a convincing victory.
