Acknowledging the challenge ahead, the winger praised Bafana Bafana’s quality while backing Nigeria’s strength.

— “South Africa is a strong team. They have a good team also. They are first in the group,” Chukwueze said.

Yet, he quickly underlined Nigeria’s resolve.

— “We are Nigerian, so we have a good team also. So we can compete with them.”
