Super Eagles star Moses Simon delivered an impressive performance on Friday evening, providing a crucial assist to inspire Paris FC to a commanding 4-1 victory over AS Monaco at the Stade Jean Bouin.
Simon set the tone early, orchestrating the opening goal of the encounter. While the 30-year-old winger grabbed the headlines for his playmaking, Footballrover reports

He wasn’t the only player with Nigerian roots to shine; US-born winger Luca Koleosho also found the back of the net for the hosts.
This assist marks Simon’s third of the campaign, bringing his total goal contributions to six (three goals and three assists) across 25 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
Meanwhile, Koleosho’s strike was his second in 11 French top-flight matches.
Simon played 87 minutes before being substituted for Willem Geubbels to a round of applause.
Despite his club success, the international future of his teammate Koleosho remains a point of interest; born to a Nigerian father and an Italian-Canadian mother in the United States, the young winger remains eligible to represent the USA, Canada, Nigeria, or Italy.
Paris delivered a stunning performance to dismantle AS Monaco, ending the visitors’ seven-match winning streak—the longest in Europe’s top five leagues.
The home team dominated from the outset, racing into a two-goal lead within eight minutes thanks to strikes from Jonathan Ikoné and Ciro Immobile.
Paris ends Monaco’s historic winning streak
Despite being overwhelmed, Monaco found a lifeline through Folarin Balogun, who made history by scoring in his seventh consecutive match.
However, any hopes of a comeback were extinguished in the second half. Shortly after Paul Pogba made his return from the bench for Monaco, Paris substitute Luca Koleosho sealed the win with a spectacular long-range effort that rattled in off the crossbar.
The result marks Paris FC’s biggest win of the season, extending their unbeaten run to seven games and securing a comfortable mid-table cushion.
Conversely, Monaco missed a crucial opportunity to enter the top three, suffering their first league defeat since January.
