The Tanzanian Premier League, notorious for poaching top players from Nigeria, has struck again, and this time, the duo of Sochima Victor and Shadrack Asiegbu have been lured away from NPFL.

Another Nigerian talent exodus is underway!

Footballrover can exclusively confirm that both players have signed one-year deals with Tabora United FC, with an option to extend their stay, Footballrover reports.

The move comes after the pair successfully passed their medicals.

Joining Victor on the journey to Tanzania is the creative midfielder Shadrack Asiegbu.

After seeing his contract expire at Rivers United, the 25-year-old decided to seek greener pastures in East Africa.

Asiegbu began his NPFL career at Abia Warriors before moving to Enugu Rangers in 2020.

Although boasting 173 NPFL appearances, his goal contributions—a mere 16 goals and four assists—might not fully reflect his talent and what he brings to the table.
