Former Rivers United star Andy Okpe is proving unstoppable in Northern Cyprus, delivering yet another hat-trick for Mağusa Türk Gücü (MTG) over the weekend.

The in-form forward, who has now netted two hat-tricks this month, continues to dominate the KTFF Super League, making his presence felt in every game, footballrover reports.

Okpe was at his clinical best on Sunday, inspiring MTG to a thrilling 5-3 away victory over Yenicami.

The Nigerian forward struck three times in just eight minutes, scoring in the 37th, 40th, and 45th minutes to put his team firmly in control.

His explosive display left Yenicami struggling to keep up as MTG continued their unbeaten run.

This latest hat-trick follows his dominant performance against Karşiyaka earlier this month, where he bagged three goals in a 6-1 rout.

With each game, the NPFL product shows why he remains one of the most dangerous strikers in the KTFF Super League.

Adewale Sapara also impresses despite Yenicami’s defeat

Okpe wasn’t the only Nigerian who made headlines in the match. Adewale Sapara put up a valiant effort for Yenicami, scoring a brace in a losing battle.

After Okpe’s first-half heroics, Sapara pulled one back in the 50th minute, but MTG quickly restored their lead through Erhun Aksel Öztümür in the 57th minute.

Barış Kaya extended MTG’s advantage to 5-1 in the 73rd minute before late strikes from Görkem Büyükaşık and Sapara reduced the deficit.

However, Okpe’s brilliance had already sealed the game for MTG.

With this latest performance, the 23-year-old striker has now scored nine league goals in five matches, bringing his season tally to 10 across all competitions.

Remarkably, four of his goals have come from headers, showcasing his aerial dominance, while six have been struck with his feet.

Thanks to Okpe’s brilliance in front of goal, Mağusa Türk Gücü remain unbeaten in their last 11 games, securing nine wins and two draws.

They currently sit second in the league with 43 points, level with leaders Değirmenlik, who have a game in hand.

After the match, Okpe shared the key to his relentless form, claiming, “I train so hard so that the games can be easy for me. Glory be to God, it’s another away hat trick.”

With his unstoppable run of form, Andy Okpe is fast becoming one of the most feared strikers in the KTFF Super League, and if his performances continue at this pace, he could be on the path to even bigger achievements.
