Despite an early two-goal lead, United were left stunned by a relentless Porto comeback, spearheaded by Omorodion, who netted twice in a high-octane Europa League encounter, Footballrover reports.

The English side started brightly with Marcus Rashford, who sliced through Porto’s defence after just seven minutes, beating both Stephen Eustáquio and João Mário before slipping the ball past Diogo Costa at the near post.

Rashford struck again shortly after, setting up Rasmus Højlund with a clever pass, allowing the Dane to make it 2-0, much to the dismay of the Porto fans.

Omorodion leads Porto’s comeback

Just when Manchester United looked in control, Porto roared back into the contest, driven by Omorodion’s energy and João Mário’s pinpoint crosses.

A mix-up in United’s defence resulted in Pepê seizing on a rebound to halve the deficit.

Moments later, Omorodion powered in a thumping header, making it 2-2 and bringing the home crowd to life.

United’s momentum took a hit when Rashford left the field at halftime, but it was Omorodion who continued to shine.

Early in the second half, the young forward capped off a brilliant display by darting in at the near post to blast home a cross from Pepê, putting Porto ahead for the first time in the match.

Late Maguire heroics deny Porto victory

Despite his dominance, Omorodion was substituted with just over 15 minutes to go, having contributed significantly to Porto’s resurgence.

His efforts, however, weren’t enough to secure victory, as United’s Harry Maguire headed home a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser to level the score at 3-3.

The draw means United have now gone four consecutive European away games without a win, despite scoring three goals in each of them.

As for Omorodion, his seven goals in five games for Porto have made him one of the rising stars to watch.
