Barely few weeks after winning the 2021/22 season of the Nigerian Professional Football league with Rivers United, the forward – Nwagua Nyima has won the most important trophy in the life of a man for himself.

Footballrover gathered that the marriage which was very colourful and heartwarming took place in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Footballrover further learned that, only the couple’s friends and family members were present at the low-key celebration.

Nwagua, who won the Nigeria Professional Football League with the Stanley Eguma side, was one of those honored by the Rivers State Governor – Nyesom Wike with a N12 million naira award.

The NPFL trophy represents Rivers United’s first significant victory since their formation in 2016 as a result of the merging of the Dolphins and Sharks.

The Former Kano Pillars striker – Nwagua, who claimed to have joined Rivers United in search of a fresh challenge and went on to help the Port Harcourt side clinch the NPFL titles, will surely be happy adding the most prestigious trophy to his life.
