Ajibade’s two goals marked her first of the season, and she capped off her brilliant display with an assist, helping Atletico cruise to a dominant away win, Footballrover reports.

The Super Falcons star delivered a player-of-the-match performance at the Estadio Antonio Puchades, where Atletico dominated in possession, goal attempts, and shots on target.

Coming into this match on the back of a narrow win against Deportivo La Coruña Women, Atletico were determined to keep their winning streak alive.

It only took 15 minutes for Ajibade to make an impact, as she set up Gabriela Garcia for the opening goal.

Garcia then returned the favour 11 minutes later, assisting Sheila Guijarro to double Atletico’s lead.

Eight minutes before halftime, Ajibade found the back of the net herself, giving the visitors a comfortable 3-0 lead heading into the first half break.Rasheedat Ajibade Strikes Twice, Set Up Another as Atletico Madrid Thrash Valencia

Valencia struggled to cope with Ajibade’s pace and intensity, and her persistence paid off once again in the second half.

Just before the final whistle, the 24-year-old Nigerian star broke through the defence and slotted home her second goal of the game, sealing the 4-0 win.

Ajibade had five shots on goal during the match, with two finding the net. She now has two goals and two assists this season.

Atletico Madrid Femenino remain unbeaten in their last four matches across all competitions, including three consecutive league wins and a Champions League qualifier victory.

This win keeps them at the top of the Liga F table with nine points from three games, level with Barcelona.

Rasheedat Ajibade and her teammates will now prepare for their next challenge against Madrid CFF on Friday in matchday four.
