By the 13th minute, Zainab Oluwaseun doubled the lead for the Flamingos, calmly slotting in a perfectly timed effort that left the Algerian keeper rooted to the spot.
The Nigerian team’s attacking waves kept crashing into the Algerian defence, and just three minutes later, Queen Joseph was at it again.
With clinical composure, she bagged her second goal of the game to make it 3-0 — a brace that showed her sharp instincts in front of goal.

Despite some late resistance from Algeria, the Flamingos remained in control throughout the second half.
In the dying moments of the match, substitute Aishat Animashaun added the icing on the cake, netting the fourth goal in the 90th minute to cap off a dominant outing.
