Ademola Lookman produced a fantastic brace to help Atalanta easily advance to the Coppa Italia quarterfinals, proving that he is now the hottest winger in the world.

The Super Eagles player scored twice in the span of two minutes to inspire Atalanta in thrashing Spezia on Thursday night in their Coppa Italia match.

Lookman’s incredible season-long form continued as he put on another spectacular performance for Atalanta in their 5-2 victory over Spezia, barely four days after his goal-scoring effort in the Serie A.

The hosts played well to start the game and didn’t score until Lookman’s excellent goal gave them the lead in the 10th minute.

After a deft one-two with Duvan Zapata, the Nigerian international increased his game total in the 12th minute by drilling his effort home.

With 11 goals in all competitions for Atalanta this season, the 25-year-old winger is already having his greatest scoring season.

Hans Hateboer and Rasmus Hjlund added three more goals for Atalanta after that, and Ethan Ampadu’s own-goal at the very end secured the victory.

Albin Ekdal and Daniele Verde scored two goals for Spezia, but it wasn’t enough to prevent them from suffering a crushing defeat away from home.
