The countdown continues with so much excitement as GTI Asset Management and Trust Limited, strategic partners of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), prepare to deliver a thrilling President Federation Cup final on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Set to unfold at the historic Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, this year’s finale promises fireworks—on and off the pitch.
All eyes on the President Federation Cup final showdowns
With the Nigerian oldest domestic football competition marking its 77th edition, GTI has assured fans of a grand encounter that blends elite football action with entertainment that will light up the arena.
GTI’s Head of Media and Publicity, Andrew Ekejiuba, revealed in a press statement that preparations are in full swing.

“Mobolaji Johnson Arena will come alive with soccer fireworks and thrilling entertainment,” he said, adding that both the men’s and women’s finals will deliver passion, drama, and unforgettable moments.
In the men’s category, Kwara United faces a spirited Abakaliki FC side in what promises to be a battle of grit and glory.
Kwara United reached the President Federation Cup final after edging past NPFL champions Rangers of Enugu in a tense 1-0 semifinal clash.
But it’s Abakaliki FC—nicknamed De Rice Boys—who have turned heads with their underdog story, having eliminated four top-tier teams, including Enyimba FC and Nasarawa United, on their fairy-tale run.
History, rivalry, and redemption in Women’s final
Earlier that day, the women’s final will see Rivers Angels aiming for a historic 10th title against the determined Nasarawa Amazons.

The Amazons last lifted the trophy in 2019, defeating none other than the Jewels of Rivers.
This year, they return with a vengeance—and an emotional edge—led by captain Josephine Mathias, who once wore Rivers’ colours in that fateful 2019 loss.
The stage is set for a gripping rematch packed with pride, rivalry, and legacy-defining performances.
The women’s game kicks off at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men’s clash at 4:00 p.m.
Both matches will be streamed live on SuperSport and Propel Sports Africa, giving fans across Nigeria and beyond front-row access to all the action.

The President Federation Cup final stands tall as a symbol of football excellence, unity, and the power of the beautiful game even as GTI continues to invest in Nigerian football through impactful partnerships.
