Rafiu Durosinmi ended a seven-game goal drought to help Viktoria Plzeň claim a 2–1 win over Mladá Boleslav.

Coming off the bench in the 72nd minute, the Nigerian forward scored just ten minutes later, calmly finishing Plzeň’s second goal in the 82nd minute.

His strike not only secured three crucial points but also highlighted his knack for making an impact in tight moments.

Durosinmi now has 12 goals in 27 appearances this season across all competitions, despite starting only 11 league games.

Onyeka sees bench in fourth straight EPL game

Frank Onyeka’s situation at Brentford has taken a worrying turn ahead of AFCON 2025 kickoff this December.

The Super Eagles midfielder remained on the bench for a fourth straight Premier League game as Brentford beat Burnley 3-1, having last featured in the league on October 25.

Despite nine league appearances and one assist this season, his minutes have dried up.

Onyeka also scored for Nigeria during the 2026 World Cup playoff run, netting against DR Congo in the final after previously scoring versus Benin.

But with Brentford pushing into eighth place, his lack of action raises real concerns for his national-team form.

Simon fires blank as Paris FC hold Auxerre

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon featured for the entire match as Paris FC settled for a 1-1 draw with Auxerre in Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash.

The Nigerian, making his 13th outing of the season, has already contributed three goals and two assists for the club.

Paris FC struck first through a 32nd-minute penalty converted by Kebbal, but Diomande equalised eight minutes later, quieting the home crowd.

Despite late pressure from both sides, neither could find a winner.

The result leaves Paris FC in 12th place with 15 points, while Auxerre remain rooted to the bottom with nine.

Dele-Bashiru returns to Lazio squad

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru returned from injury on Saturday, getting minutes for Lazio in their clash with Milan.

It marked his fifth Serie A outing of the campaign after recovering from the biceps femoris problem he picked up in the Rome derby.

He came on after 62 minutes, replacing Matías Vecino with Lazio already trailing. Milan went on to win 1–0 at San Siro, with Rafael Leão finishing from a Fikayo Tomori delivery.

Lazio had early openings, but Mike Maignan stood firm, and a late VAR check denied them a penalty. The sides are set to face each other again in the Coppa Italia.
