Patson Daka’s brace scored in the match played at Dobsonville Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa, guaranteed the Zambians the top spot in Group H of the AFCON Qualifiers with 9 points after four rounds of matches.

Daka scored early for Chipolopolo in the 14th minute of the first half after breaking through the defense of Lesotho for Zambia’s first goal of the match.

Zambia almost increased the tally to two in the 63rd and 67th minutes of the second half of the match, but the bravery of Lesotho goalkeeper Sakhone Moerane stopped them from achieving the objective.

An attempt by Lesotho to equalize through a free-kick at the periphery of the Zambian 18-yard box in the 68th minute of the second half was thwarted by Zambian keeper, Toaster Nsabata.

Patson Daka got his brace a few minutes later when a Zambian lurking right winger, Fashion Sakala, released a right cross for an unmarked Patson Daka to slot in for Zambia’s second goal.

Ivory Coast is second in Group H with 7 points after four rounds of matches, while Comoros is third on the log with 3 points after three rounds of matches.

Lesotho are last in the group with just one point after four rounds of matches.
