Super Eagles star Bright Osayi-Samuel has finally silenced swirling rumors about a possible move to Galatasaray.

Despite ongoing contract renewal discussions with his current club, Fenerbahçe, the fullback has made it clear he has no intention of switching to another Turkish club, Footballrover reports.

His contract, due to expire in 2025, has become a hot topic among recently as speculation mounts.

The Nigerian international has been a critical asset for Fenerbahçe since he arrived in 2021, helping the team capture the Turkish Cup last season.

The strategic move has caused a stir among Fenerbahçe supporters, who fear losing one of their standout players to their fiercest rivals.

During a Twitch broadcast hosted by Fanatik, Osayi-Samuel directly addressed these claims, firmly denying any plan to join the Aslanlar or any other Turkish team.

“I don’t know where these numbers are coming from. I have never requested anything like that,” he stated. With conviction, he added, “I would never betray Fenerbahçe; I would never play for another Turkish team.”

As Fenerbahçe competes under manager José Mourinho this season, the Nigerian defender has already featured in eight matches, contributing one assist.
