Olabiyi Folajomi put Delta Queens on the front foot with a goal in the 5th minute, followed by Maureen Okpala’s strike in the 50th minute.

However, Ekiti Queens refused to go down without a fight, with Oketete Racheal pulling one back in the dying moments of the game.

Down south in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa Queens displayed their attacking prowess with a convincing 2-0 win against the Sunshine Queens.

Divine Onwuchekwa and Rose Ekong found the net within minutes of each other in the first half, securing all three points for the home team.

The drama continued in Katsina, where the Adamawa Queens staged a thrilling comeback against the Abia Angels.

After going down a goal early on through Rose Adeshina, Blessing Sule equalised in the 69th minute.

The tension escalated further when Florence Onyiyechi converted a penalty in the 89th minute, sending the home crowd into excitement.

Lagos witnessed a goal fest as Dannaz Ladies thrashed Confluence Queens 4-2.

Zainab Raji, Fatimoh Solaty, Olawunmi Akintola, and Farike Moses all got on the scoresheet for the home team, displaying their attacking firepower.

However, the Confluence Queens displayed resilience, pulling two goals back through Daniella Fagbenro and Mary Mahmud.

The only stalemate of the day came in Sapele, where Royal Queens and Heartland Queens played out a goalless draw.

Despite both teams creating several chances, they were unable to break the deadlock, leaving the points to be shared.
