Nicolas Jackson is back on the scoresheet at a crucial time, ending a frustrating 13-game drought in the Premier League with a brilliant strike against Everton.

The Chelsea forward, who had not scored in the league since December 15, finally found the net with his first Premier League goal of 2025 — and his 24th overall, Footballrover reports.

The Blues pressed on, but Pickford was in inspired form, denying Madueke multiple times and saving headers from both Madueke and Cucurella.

Everton, too, had their moments through Beto and Idrissa Gueye, but Robert Sánchez stood firm to preserve Chelsea’s slender lead.

Jackson thought he had a second late on, only for VAR to intervene for offside.

Nevertheless, Chelsea secured back-to-back wins, moving up to fourth temporarily and setting a positive tone ahead of their UEFA Conference League semi-final.

Meanwhile, Everton suffered consecutive defeats, a blow after their impressive 12-game run with just one loss.
