The Nigerian international has now scored 12 goals in the Saudi Women’s Premier League this season.

Her overall tally for the campaign rises to an impressive 24 goal contributions, including four assists in the league and one in the Saudi Women’s Cup.

The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year has also been prolific across competitions, with 19 goals in total—six coming in the Saudi Women’s Challenge Cup and one in the Saudi Women’s Cup.

The encounter itself was cagey in the opening half, with both sides struggling to find a breakthrough.

However, the 31-year-old Nigerian and her teammates came alive after the restart, turning the game into a one-sided affair.

After a quiet first half, the breakthrough arrived just two minutes after the restart when Oshoala tapped home from close range, finishing off a neat assist from Al Bandari Mobarak.

The floodgates opened quickly. Eight minutes later, Kheira Hamraoui doubled the lead, again set up by the influential Al Bandari, who was pulling all the strings in midfield.

Her performance ultimately earned her well-deserved Player of the Match honours.

The emphatic win has now ended their frustrating run of three matches, during which Al-Hilal suffered two defeats and one draw.
