Over the weekend, Moses Simon played a pivotal role by providing an assist that helped Nantes avoid another home defeat against Marseille in Ligue 1.
The Super Eagles forward became the playmaker during Nantes’ home clash with Marseille on matchday four of the French Ligue 1 on Friday night.
Thanks to Moses, Nantes staged a remarkable comeback against Olympique Marseille, holding them to a 1-1 draw at the Stade de la Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau.
Ismaila Sarr initially put Marseille ahead with a thunderous shot from a rebound, just four minutes into the game, after Nantes’ goalkeeper failed to clear an earlier shot.
Nantes faced even greater adversity as they were reduced to 10 men in the 9th minute when Bastien Meupiyou received a straight red card for a foul on Ismaila Sarr as the last defender.
Despite being a player short, Nantes managed to equalize in the 39th minute, thanks to Mostafa Mohamed, who was expertly set up by Simon Moses.

In their upcoming Ligue 1 fixture, Simon Moses and his teammates are set to face Clermont Foot. They will surely be determined to secure a victory and revive their performance in the league.
