Group B leaders Morocco defeated host Algeria 3-0 on Wednesday to pick up a World Cup spot and a semi-final ticket for the 2023 CAF U-17 Football Championship in Algeria.
The all North African derbies were played late Wednesday at Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium, Constantine, Algeria.
Morocco proved to be the dominant side by scoring three goals in the match against their North African neighbors.
Morocco scored a goal in the first half and two in the second half to seal the dual spots in the U-17 World Cup and the semi-final of the 2023 CAF U-17 football championship.
Moroccan striker Ouazane Z scored the first goal in the 28th minute of the first half of the match.
In the 57th minute of the second half, Ouazane Z scored a brace to make it 2-0 in favor of the Moroccans.

Chakir made it 3-0 for the Moroccans in the 86th minute of the second half.
The Moroccans will now meet the winners of the third quarter-final match between Congo and Mali in the second semi-final on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the 19 May 1956 Stadium by 8:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
