Since returning from injury in March, Okoye has stood out, earning praise for his resilience during Udinese’s struggles, Footballrover reports.

Okoye, now firmly Udinese’s first-choice shot-stopper, credited head coach Kosta Runjaić for his support.
“The coach has faith in me, and I am grateful to be able to play every week. For me, it is an honour to defend this goal,” he told the club’s official website.
Reflecting on his journey, Okoye noted he remains the same player who debuted against Bologna but has “certainly learned a lot” since then.

Despite Udinese’s winless run stretching to seven games, Maduka Okoye remains a symbol of hope.
With 21 appearances and four clean sheets this season, the 25-year-old Nigerian international believes perseverance is key.
“To get out of this moment, we have to keep working. We are working well, as we have done all season; we have to keep doing it and grow together,” Okoye urged his teammates.
As the season nears its end, he is focused on helping Udinese rediscover form and on reclaiming his spot with the Super Eagles ahead of the Unity Cup in London.
