During England’s World Cup group match against China, a passionate fan stirred up controversy by declaring that Chelsea Women’s star, Lauren James, is superior to her brother, Reece James.

The fan’s bold statement was made in the stands, holding up a sign that read, “Lauren James is better than Reece James.”

This came after witnessing her sensational performance in a game that saw China succumbing to England’s dominance.

Lauren James displayed her magic on the pitch by securing an impressive hat-trick of assists and a brace, contributing heavily to England’s victory.

The fan’s mesmerized by Lauren James’ performance just couldn’t hide his emotions.

She has been involved in England’s last six goals at the competition as England thrashed China 6-1.

Recall that Reece James once said;

“I believe she is the best women’s footballer in the world, and will be for the next 10-15 years, without doubt. She’s technically better than some Premier players.”

And now the statement comes back to haunt him.

Both James siblings are crucial players for Chelsea, with Lauren still coming up as a talent under the guidance of Emma Hayes, while Reece has become a prominent figure and is set to be named captain of the West London side, despite facing recent injury setbacks.
