After the game against Gombe United, Kabiru Dogo, the head coach of Kwara United, has expressed gratitude to the club’s stakeholders and fans for their encouragement and support during challenging times.
Following setbacks against Enyimba, Shooting Stars, and Bendel Insurance, Kwara United surged back to form with a resounding victory against Gombe United last weekend, Footballrover reports
Dogo, brimming with confidence, pledged and also assured the fans of great improvements within the team moving forward in the season.
In their recent Nigeria Premier League match, held at the Kwara Sports Complex, Kwara United dominated Gombe United with a 2-0 win.

Alao Mohammed and Abubakar Garba secured the goals, with Mohammed scoring just before halftime and Abubakar sealing the victory with a late strike.
Dogo, speaking to the club’s media post-game, emphasised their focus on the upcoming fixture against Akwa United at Eket Stadium on Saturday.
“I want to thank the stakeholders and the fans for believing in the team despite the challenges encountered. We would get there as the season progressed. After this great feat, our focus now is on Akwa United,” the coach said.
This victory propelled Kwara United to 9th place on the NPFL table with 13 points, while Gombe United lingers just a point below in 16th place.
