In a nail-biting Nigeria Premier League (NPFL) clash, Coach Daniel Ogunmodede’s Remo Stars couldn’t convert dominance into goals against Doma United, settling for a goalless draw in Ikenne on Saturday.
Despite a commanding display with over 20 goal attempts, the resilient Doma goalkeeper, Osayi Kingdom, thwarted Remo Stars’ efforts, leaving the game deadlocked after the final whistle, Footballrover reports
Expressing his thoughts on his social media page, Coach Ogunmodede highlighted that securing the crucial win proved elusive for them.
However, he admitted that they’d glean valuable lessons from the encounter and forge ahead with huge determination.
“Despite our best efforts, securing the crucial win proved elusive on Match Day 10 of the #NPFL24.We’ll extract valuable lessons from the game and move forward with determination,” the coach said.

The draw saw Remo Stars slip to 4th place with 16 points; their sights are now set on another important encounter against reigning champions Enyimba.
With a win eluding them in their last two matches, the team is now eager to make amends during their upcoming clash at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Wednesday.
This midweek fixture poses a crucial opportunity for the Remo Stars to bounce back and reclaim their winning momentum in the NPFL.
