Speaking to the club’s website after the match, a delighted Maja expressed his satisfaction with his performance and his team’s result.

“I’m delighted with how today went and to help my team,” Josh Maja said.

After struggling with injuries last year, he was thrilled to have found the back of the net in West Bromwich Albion’s 3-1 win against QPR.

“I hope today is the start of something special. I thrive off goals and confidence. This will be a big boost for my confidence, and I’ll take that into my next game,” he concluded.
