Two Super Falcons stars, Jennifer Echegini and Chidinma Okeke, made headlines on Friday with standout performances for their respective clubs.

Echegini wasted no time in France, striking in under two minutes to propel PSG to a commanding Coupe de France victory, footballrover reports.

While Chidinma Okeke found the net in Mexico, adding to Club América Femenil’s emphatic league win.

Jennifer Echegini sparks PSG’s Coupe de France charge

Jennifer Echegini delivered another decisive moment for PSG, scoring the opening goal in their 4-0 quarterfinal rout of Le Mans FC in the Coupe de France Féminine.

The Nigerian midfielder struck in the second minute, setting the ball rolling for a dominant display at Stade Marie-Marvingt.

Following Echegini’s early breakthrough, PSG tightened their grip on the game, with further goals from Albert, Geyoro, and Leuchter sealing their place in the semifinals.

The Parisians now await the winner of the quarterfinal clash between Lille and Saint-Étienne.

Since joining PSG from Juventus in July, Echegini has been a key presence in midfield, scoring three goals in eight league appearances while adding two more in the cup competition.

Chidinma Okeke scores as Club América Femenil run riot

In Mexico, Chidinma Okeke got her name on the scoresheet for the first time with Club América Femenil, helping them secure a dominant 6-0 victory over Mazatlán in Liga MX Femenil.

The 24-year-old defender doubled her side’s lead with a powerful header just before halftime, following an opener from Daniela Espinosa.

Espinosa struck again early in the second half before Priscila Flor da Silva’s brace and a stoppage-time goal by Espinosa sealed the rout at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes.

With this win, Club América moved to second place in the league standings, just one point behind leaders Pachuca.

Both Echegini and Okeke continue to make an impact for their clubs, proving their worth on the international stage.
