Udinese forward Isaac Success has emphasised that the point earned against Napoli in Monday’s Serie A clash is more valuable than his goal, which rescued a draw for his team.
Success was the hero of the day after he tucked home in the second minute of additional time to rescue a point for Fabio Canavaro’s team, Footballrover reports.
Despite targeting a victory, Success acknowledged that the point gained was crucial for their survival hopes.

The match at the Bluenergy Stadium saw Napoli dominate and create more chances, with Victor Osimhen scoring the opener in the second half.
Although Osimhen’s second goal was ruled out for offside, Udinese struggled to find an equaliser until Success’s timely intervention in added time.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Super Eagles star said,
“The point is more important than the goal; it brings us closer to our goal.”
He expressed disappointment at not securing a win but highlighted the team’s high morale after drawing against a strong opponent.

Despite the draw, Udinese remain in the relegation zone, but Success’s goal and the point gained offer a glimmer of hope in their fight for survival.
